I've been trying to read more recently. By that I mean reading more non-medical literature. I'll try to pen some thoughts if I have, or identify some quotes which mean something to me; not so much to sell the book to readers, but more to remind myself of what I've read and the thoughts which struck me when I read the book sometime when I revisit my blogposts in future. (Hopefully Blogger doesn't crash/close-shop in the next 20 years)
Didn't really buy or identify with the 5 lessons that the character was supposed to learn from the 5 people he met in heaven. Picked out a short paragraph which I liked.
"Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it.
Life has to end, love doesn't."
